Beginning in October of 2014, I was lucky enough to photograph the building and subsequent firing of first the Willow Anagama (Japanese wood fired kiln), and then the larger Brick Anagama. This took place in Wytham Woods in Oxford and was a joint project between Oxford University and the Whichford Pottery. You can find more information on www.wythamwoods.ox.ac.uk.
